Trainer, Sandi Thompson of Bravo!Pup will be teaching a three class training course on "HOW TO" prep your dog for a trip to the Groomer or Veterinarian. This is a class for owners that want their pup to LOVE handling and grooming. It is best to start while your "hottie pup" is young and get them accustomed to being touched, brushed, primped, and bathed! We will take dogs of any age as long as the dog is not unfriendly. These classes are a stepping stone to having a well mannered, easily groomed dog that you can be proud of. Even dogs with short hair will benefit from this class. Your Veterinarian and Groomer will Thank You!! 

(NOTE- we are not teaching HOW TO cut or trim hair, but to prepare your dog to have a pleasant experience.)

The Canine Cancer Foundation Fundraiser

Here at all about the DOGue Salon & Spa we will be fundraising to help in the efforts to fight and protect our furry friends from cancer. 
The National Canine Cancer Foundation focus' on the research for a cure. Many of the techniques used to fight cancer in humans were used for the same purpose in dogs first. With October being the official Breast Cancer Awareness Month we decided to piggy-back on that and take it a step further by getting the community envolved in Canine Cancer awareness. Recently written up in Bay Woof, local mosaic artist Delaine Hackney is all about dogs and is pleased as punch to show her work at "all about the DOGue salon & spa"! Based on a photo, each portrait is a whimsical likeness made with ceramic, glass and found objects. Influences include an absolute love and admiration for dogs, along with the desire to honor them with quirky originality. Although Delaine generally creates custom works for commission, the sample portraits on display in the salon are also for sale. Join us for a chance to Delaine and view her work up close.
